Do you want the good news? Brian Robinson Jr. was doing practice drills after missing Sunday’s game with a knee injury. The official injury report listed him as “limited” and that certainly seemed to be the case as we saw him working out on a field by himself with a staff member.
The Commanders running game suffered on Sunday in Baltimore without Robinson against a good Ravens run-defense that limited the Washington Commanders to just 52 yards on the ground which was a season low. Prior to Sunday’s game, the Commanders were averaging 178.4 rushing yards per game. A major reason for the loss by 7-points in Baltimore was the poor rushing offensive production.
If Robinson is fully healthy on Sunday, it will give Washington’s offense another weapon on Sunday against Carolina. Speaking of the offense, rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels was named Rookie of the Week for the fifth time this season. That is 5-of-6 weeks for Daniels who is well on his way for a lot more hardware if he keeps this up. Overall, Daniels ranks third of all quarterbacks in the QBR rankings.
The Commanders game was flexed to be the 4pm game on Sunday at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland on the FOX network. The early Vegas lines moved the Commanders to 8-point favorites.
