The story should be all about the 4-4 Washington Commanders playing the hot 6-1 Minnesota Vikings today. But per usual, Commanders’ owner Dan Snyder has once again overshadowed the team on the field with news off the field. Snyder made it official earlier this week that he will explore a sale of the team.
If the season ended right now, the Commanders would be a Wild Card team and in the playoffs. That is quite the reversal of fortunes from the 1-3 team from four weeks ago.
Today, Washington faces their former quarterback Kirk Cousins who will face-off against Taylor Heinicke. The Vikings are in firm control of their division with a surprising 6-1 record.
The other good news this week is that DE Chase Young, who is recovering from an ACL surgery a year ago, is back to practice.
