When you have a first game after you make the postseason, you have to capitalize to get the season started on the winning side. Ryan Fitzpatrick will get the start for the Washington Football Team in this one at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland against the visiting Los Angeles Chargers.
This will give us the real first chance to see most of the first rounders all together here but the team will be without Curtis Samuel who was placed on the IR with a hamstring injury.
As important as always, the backup QB will be Taylor Heinicke for the this one. We will get our first looks at how the WFT and coach Ron Rivera subs in his second and third string.
